Magnox North is an organisation with a UK wide portfolio, ranging from power generation to nuclear decommissioning. The diverse nature of our business is reflected in the breadth of our supply chain and the value we put on the relationships we build with our suppliers. These pages contain information that will help you find what opportunities exist and how we do business with our supply chain.
Magnox North is a Site Licence Company (SLC) which holds the site licence from the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate and environmental authorisations from the Environment Agency. Magnox North has a contract to manage and operate 5 nuclear sites to exacting standards of safety and cost efficiency on contract to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), the Government body responsible for delivering the decommissioning programme of the UK’s civil nuclear legacy.

Generating Sites:
- Oldbury
- Wylfa (with additional responsibility for Maentwrog hydroelectric station)
Decommissioning Sites:
- Trawsfynnydd
- Chapelcross
- Hunterston A
Additionally we have two offices at:
- Berkeley
- Daresbury
